Oregon's first spring football game played under coach Mario Cristobal will be held April 21 in Autzen Stadium, the school announced Monday. Kickoff will be 2 p.m.

The date is a bit earlier than usual for UO's spring game, which has typically been held the final weekend of April, or first weekend of May, but will allow UO's assistants to hit the road recruiting earlier as part of the NCAA's spring evaluation period.

It would also give players injured during spring that much more recovery time before the season opener, Sept. 1 against Bowling Green.

Oregon's nonconference schedule in 2018 also includes home games Sept. 8 against Portland State and Sept. 15 against San Jose State.
