As successor to Serge Allegrezza, Françoise Schlink has been elected chairwoman of Post Luxembourg.

At the Council of Government, Françoise Schlink – First Adviser and Chief of Staff at the Ministry of the Economy – was nominated to the position.

She replaces outgoing chairman Serge Allegrezza, the former head of Statec who has been a member of The Council of Government since 2003, and  president of Post since 2013.

Although he has resigned from the chairman position, he will remain president of the administrative council of LuxTrust SA, a subsidiary firm of the Post group.

Lex Delles, Minister for the Economy, SMEs, Energy and Tourism was among a number of prominent voices to "warmly thank" Serge Allegrezza for his 22-years of service.

The Board of Directors is now composed of the following state representatives: Françoise Schlink (President), Jean-Luc Kamphaus (Vice-President), Sandra Denis, Jeff Fettes, Steve Fritz, Jean Olinger, Anne-Catherine Ries, and Michèle Bley, who has also newly joined the board. The employee representatives are Pierre Da Silva, Udo Fell, Gilbert Goergen, Raymond Juchem, Axel Ludwig, and Alain Sondag. The independent board members are Ginette Jones and Jean-Marc Ueberecken.

The Post Luxembourg Group, a public institution under the supervision of the Ministry of the Economy, employs more than 4,500 people and ranks among the largest employers in the country.
