The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia held talks with one of the leading Malaysian companies in the field of residential and non-residential construction - Hadid Engineering, Trend reports via Podrobno.uz.
As a result of negotiations, an agreement was reached on opening the office of Hadid Engineering in Uzbekistan. Specific steps for further cooperation will be discussed by the leadership of the Khorezm region and company representatives on January 24 during the upcoming Uzbek-Malaysian business forum in Malaysia.
In addition to construction work, Hadid Engineering holds a leading position in Malaysia in the provision of engineering service for companies in the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical industries and the energy sector. The authorized capital of the company is $ 1.2 million, and revenue for 2018 amounted to $ 4.2 million.
In general, the construction industry in Malaysia is estimated at $32 billion, and the key factor for its development was the strengthening of state-private partnership for the implementation of mega projects in the country.
