Prominent Attorney, Business Leader Jonathan Missner Elected Director of Chain Bridge Bank, N.A.

MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 16, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. (the “Bank” or “Chain Bridge”) announced today that Jonathan E. Missner has been elected to its Board of Directors.

Jonathan E. Missner is the Managing Partner of Washington law firm Stein Mitchell Beato & Missner LLP (“Stein Mitchell”).  As Chair of Stein Mitchell’s Corporate Strategy Group and Global Practices Group, Missner focuses his practice on evaluating litigation risks and benefits, controlling costs, advising growing businesses, and creating value-driven partnerships.  With his background leading businesses on a global platform, he works with clients on their most complex matters, including regulatory and policy issues, venture capital and emerging companies, growth, and corporate governance.

In welcoming Missner, Chain Bridge Bank Chairman Peter G. Fitzgerald said: “We are delighted to have Jon join the Board.  He is a highly regarded lawyer and talented businessman who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Board.”

On joining Chain Bridge, Missner said: “I have known Chain Bridge’s leadership team for a number of years and have been impressed by its people and results.  Chain Bridge Bank distinguishes itself by delivering the best possible banking experience through leading-edge technology and attentive personal service.  Stein Mitchell has been a client for several years and we have seen the difference that a team of highly-skilled and hands-on bankers who also understand Washington can make for your business.”

Prior to joining Stein Mitchell, Missner spent more than a decade at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee ("AIPAC"), most recently as Managing Director, National Affairs.  He helped lead AIPAC’s strategic planning, grew and managed its network of national offices, and worked closely with its Board of Directors.  Among AIPAC's many successes during his tenure, revenues tripled under Missner's direct leadership.

Prior to joining AIPAC, Missner led three high-growth businesses in the health care field. With Phillips Health, he led the nutritional supplements company through substantial growth and served as in-house counsel for regulatory matters.  He co-founded AmericasDoctor.com and developed the company’s marketing and business development plan, strategic growth, funding, and affiliate programs.  In less than two years, he helped the company establish a sustainable base of revenue and execute a strategic exit.  Mr. Missner was also Executive Vice President of Applied Medical Research, an early stage pharmaceutical company.

Missner holds a J.D. from Georgetown, M.B.A. from the George Washington University and a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University.  Mr. Missner has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center since 2000.  He is an avid tennis player and an active volunteer in his community. He and his wife Shani C. Missner, M.D., Ph.D., reside in Potomac, MD, and are the parents of three children.
